Softshell fabric, unlike other materials, is designed to provide protection against the cold while being as lightweight as possible. Its main advantage is that jackets made from it are very comfortable, and although still ideal for low temperatures, they are perfect for excursions, mountaineering, and other outdoor activities. They can even be used for sports. Therefore, they are recommended if you want to promote your brand in these areas or if you need your employees to have this type of garment, especially if they will be spending several hours outdoors in winter.

The most common techniques for customising softshell jackets are screen printing, transfer printing, embroidery, and laser engraving. Screen printing is suitable for different types of products and allows logos to be printed in one or multiple colours. Transfer printing uses heat, a press, and special paper to transfer the logo, ensuring it is well-integrated. Embroidery involves stitching the design into the jacket, but it’s not recommended for small details due to the use of threads and needles. Finally, laser engraving can be done if there are metal parts on the garment that are suitable for this technique.

It’s important to note that each product is unique and has its own maintenance specifications, which you can find on the product page. However, there are general recommendations to follow. Many jackets can only be washed at a maximum of 30°C, and some even require an extra-delicate wash programme. Bleach, whitening agents, and dry cleaning should not be used. A large part of the catalogue is not suitable for ironing, but the product page will indicate the maximum temperature if ironing is permitted.

In addition to the benefits of the softshell fabric itself, our jackets have additional features, although these may vary by model. In general, the jackets are either waterproof or have a coating that repels water, and certain models include a hood. Many of them are also windproof, which is essential for protection against adverse weather conditions which we face in the UK. Additionally, some jackets have lining or microfleece for extra warmth. Each softshell jacket has its own designated printing areas. We recommend that you specify your preferences when requesting the virtual sample so we can accommodate your needs. The most common areas for logo placement include the chest, both left and right, although some jackets have a front pocket on one side, making this area unavailable. The arm is another common location, typically around the bicep area. Lastly, logos can be placed on the back, which can feature either a small design at the top or a larger, more prominent one.

Typically, the delivery time for these jackets is between 4 to 6 working days, although this can vary depending on the item chosen and its printing technique. When you select the colour, quantity, and printing, you’ll see the estimated delivery time. This should always be counted from the approval of the virtual sample, which will be sent with the logo.
